Birthday Parties at Once Upon a Bookstore
Welcome to Once Upon a Bookstore Birthdays parties- where you provide the children and we provide the space, the activities and the fun!
Birthday parties run 90 minutes and are structured as follows:
- Arrival and party bag decorating (approx 5-10 min)
- Storytime: 1-2 stories depending on the age of the group (approx 5-10 min)
- Themed craft: (approx 10-15 min)
- Themed Game (Approx 15 min)
- Snack/Lunch and another story (approx 10 min)
- Short game (approx 10 min)
- Cake and Happy Birthday (approx 10 - 15 min)
- Head home with party bags (that the kids decorated) and any loot they collected over the course of the party.
We currently offer four themes for birthday parties: Mythical Creatures, Dinosaurs, Machines and Under the Sea.
The parties are designed for children turning 3-8 and their peers, but we can accommodate younger ages. Please email: melissa@onceuponabookstore.ca and we can discuss modifications and details.
Birthday parties run on Saturdays at 4:30pm or Sundays at 11am or 2pm.
The price of each party is $325+ tax which includes:
- the cost of renting the bookstore after hours
- decorating the space
- having a staff member(s) present to run the event
- loot/party bags for each attendee to take home
Larger parties may be requested for an additional cost of $15 + tax per child.
If you would like to include food and/or cake in the party, we would be happy to help arrange this for an additional charge.
